While most of us are sitting inside the well-heated walls of our homes, we should at least be aware of the direct connection between our privileges and the suffering of people trying to escape from warzones, unjust labor conditions and the (structural) violence that are the downside to our wealth and the laws of the markets supporting our privileged way of life.

The least we can do right now is donating to NGO's trying to better the situations of the people - families, kids, singles - who are stuck in hellholes like Moria or Lesbos. Right now.

Caring for others is a fundamental principle of humanity, it is the only just reason for being alive. Finding asylum when in need is a fundamental human right, a right that is basically treaded on by every government in the world. This shouldn't be their choice to make.

All that renewed talk about solidarity should practically start there: first for the most fragile. By any means. You can only wear a mask if you have one. You can only stay the fuck home when there is a home.
No justice anywhere until we put it there.

Ridiculously good. Strange slow-moving creaking performances on string and wind instruments and accordion of some kind, acoustic drone and acoustic doom... Beautiful discords, patient, ugly-beautiful melodies. Weirdly it's mixed almost mono, but clearly not quite. This makes the atmosphere creepier and more oppressive, so I guess... fair enough?
